On March 25, russia launched a drone attack on Kharkiv, leaving nine people injured, including a 15-year-old girl.

Following the strike, the East SOS team stepped in to assist those affected. Our specialists provided 8 legal consultations, 6 psychological consultations and 5 social work consultations.

The main requests concerned the repair of damaged property, psychological support, access to free medicines and rehabilitation services, and the recording of the damage in the loss registry.

Today, 26 March, russian forces attacked Dnipro, causing damage to several multi-storey buildings and a sports hall in the city center. Five people were injured, including a 90-year-old woman who was taken to hospital.

The East SOS team arrived at the site of the bombings after the air raid alert had ended. The psychologist provided emotional support and initial psychological assistance to six people. The lawyer also held six consultations regarding compensation for damaged or destroyed property. The case manager provided social support to five people.

“Today, I spoke to an 84-year-old woman who was evacuated from Enerhodar with her daughter. They were renting a flat in one of the buildings hit by the strikes and, miraculously, they survived: it was only the wall behind which they had taken shelter that saved their lives. For people who have been through so much, our support is of the greatest importance,” said Natalia Natina, a psychologist at East SOS.
