Registration is Now Open for the 4th Annual Ukrainian Aid Leadership Conference
On 22 May 2026, the 4th Annual Ukrainian Aid Leadership Conference will take place in Kyiv, hosted by the Alliance of Ukrainian Civil Society Organizations.
This is the fourth annual event organized by the Alliance of Ukrainian CSOs, with East SOS among its members. The conference brings together civil society representatives to discuss key issues related to localization in Ukraine.
This year, the event will traditionally gather representatives of Ukrainian CSOs, international NGOs, partners, the private sector, UN agencies, and academic circles.
The conference will provide a space to discuss how Ukraine’s role in the global international aid system is changing – from a recipient of support to a country shaping new approaches to resilience and recovery.
During the event, participants will focus on four key themes:
State and Society: rethinking localization not as a transfer of resources, but as the creation of a unified resilience ecosystem where the state and civil society act as equal partners.
Investing in the Future: a dialogue with the private sector on why civil society is a key guarantor of transparency and effectiveness in Ukraine’s reconstruction (in the context of preparation for URC 2026).
Agency on the Global Stage: how Ukraine’s experience is transforming international policies and positioning us as co-authors of a new humanitarian response system.
Evolution of Leadership: a discussion on what real expertise in wartime conditions means and who really defines new standards of learning and leadership when previous global experience no longer applies.
When: 22 May 2026
Registration deadline: 1 May (for participants requiring accommodation). Registration will remain open longer for those who do not require hotel accommodation.
