Vacancy announcement: Case Manager (Zaporizhzhia)
The Charity Foundation “East SOS” has been uniting those committed to Ukraine’s future since 2014. With the onset of russia’s full-scale invasion, we have significantly expanded our efforts to assist and protect as many victims of russian aggression as possible. We operate across government-controlled areas, providing evacuation and accommodation services, renovating shelters and IDP centers, documenting possible war crimes, implementing educational programs, delivering humanitarian aid, conducting monitoring visits, advocating for systemic changes, and offering legal and psychological support. Our regional psychosocial and legal support teams are active in Kharkiv, Vinnytsia, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, and Mykolaiv.

We are looking for a Case Manager:
- Zaporizhzhia (on-site);
- travel required for emergency response and to the transit centers in Zaporizhzhia and Voloske (Dnipropetrovsk Oblast);
- remuneration discussed during the interview.
Key responsibilities:
1. Case management and counselling:
- conducting individual consultations with people in vulnerable situations;
- assessing needs and developing and implementing tailored support plans for those affected;
- providing information on available social, humanitarian, and psychosocial services;
- referring to partner organizations, services, and programs based on the needs;
- maintaining case documentation in line with confidentiality and ethical standards.
2. Emergency response and outreach:
- participating in emergency response efforts;
- providing initial support to people affected by crisis events;
- delivering psychological first aid and basic psychosocial support;
- conducting outreach visits to frontline hromadas (communities) to inform residents about evacuation and available support options.
3. Visits to transit centers (Zaporizhzhia, Voloske (Dnipropetrovsk Oblast)):
- conducting initial consultations with evacuees;
- providing informational and psychosocial support;
- counseling on social rights, assistance, and possible next steps;
- supporting people in crisis and coordinating further assistance.
What we expect:
- 2+ years of experience in social work, case management, or related fields;
- degree in social work, psychology, or a related field;
- experience working with people affected by trauma or belonging to vulnerable groups requiring additional support;
- familiarity with applicable legislation in social protection and human rights;
- experience in maintaining documentation and preparing reports;
- adherence to professional ethics and confidentiality;
- willingness to learn and participate in trainings and supervisions;
- a valid driver’s license is an asset.
