The Charity Foundation “East SOS” has been uniting those committed to Ukraine’s future since 2014. With the onset of russia’s full-scale invasion, we have significantly expanded our efforts to assist and protect as many victims of russian aggression as possible. We operate across government-controlled areas, providing evacuation and accommodation services, renovating shelters and IDP centers, documenting possible war crimes, implementing educational programs, delivering humanitarian aid, conducting monitoring visits, advocating for systemic changes, and offering legal and psychological support. Our regional psychosocial and legal support teams are active in Kharkiv, Vinnytsia, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, and Mykolaiv.

We are looking for an Occupational Health and Safety Engineer (Kyiv):
- Kyiv (on-site);
- remuneration discussed during the interview.
Key responsibilities:
- setting up conditions and monitoring compliance with occupational health and safety laws;
- conducting safety briefings, training sessions, and knowledge assessments for team members;
- developing and implementing occupational health and safety instructions, policies, and procedures;
- conducting risk assessments and analyzing working conditions;
- monitoring the safety of equipment, premises, and work processes;
- investigating workplace incidents and preparing the required documentation;
- liaising with regulatory authorities and coordinating inspections;
- monitoring changes in legislation and implementing them within the organization;
- preparing occupational health and safety reports.
What we expect:
- at least 2 years of experience in a similar role;
- knowledge of applicable Ukrainian occupational health and safety and fire safety legislation;
- ability to work with technical documentation and prepare reports, orders, and instructions;
- responsibility, strong attention to detail and organizational skills;
- maintaining a principled approach to safety, a high level of responsibility, systematic thinking, attention to detail and the ability to clearly communicate safety requirements to the team.
