East SOS vacancy announcement: Financial Manager (Uzhhorod)
The Charity Foundation “East SOS” has been uniting those committed to Ukraine’s future since 2014. With the onset of russia’s full-scale invasion, we have significantly expanded our efforts to assist and protect as many victims of russian aggression as possible. Our core values are equality, tolerance, and humanity – reflected both in our work and in our team culture.
We operate across government-controlled areas, providing evacuation and accommodation services, renovating shelters and IDP centers, documenting crimes, implementing educational programs, delivering humanitarian aid, conducting monitoring visits, advocating for systemic changes, and offering legal and psychological support. Our regional psychosocial and legal support teams are active in Kharkiv, Vinnytsia, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, and Mykolaiv.

We are looking for a Financial Manager:
- Uzhhorod (on-site);
- remuneration discussed during the interview.
Key responsibilities:
- end-to-end financial management of the project;
- preparing contracts and statements of services, calculating fees and remunerations;
- processing invoices and managing the full financial documentation cycle within the project;
- coordination with procurement and logistics teams;
- monitoring accuracy and timeliness of payments and settlements;
- preparation of financial reports for donors;
- participation in external and internal audits of the project, including document preparation, data provision, and coordination with auditors.
What we expect:
- higher education degree in a relevant field (preferably accounting, audit, or finance);
- knowledge of applicable tax legislation, accounting, and financial reporting standards;
- experience in supplier accounting and settlements;
- fluent Ukrainian and intermediate English;
- ability to organize document flow, with a strong focus on process optimization and automation;
- experience in drafting civil law contracts;
- ability to work with large volumes of information and handle business correspondence;
- experience in the NGO sector, think tanks, or international organizations is an advantage;
- knowledge of BAF Accounting software is an advantage.
