East SOS vacancy announcement: Case Manager (Vinnytsia)
The Charity Foundation “East SOS” has been uniting those committed to Ukraine’s future since 2014. With the onset of russia’s full-scale invasion, we have significantly expanded our efforts to assist and protect as many victims of russian aggression as possible. We operate across government-controlled areas, providing evacuation and accommodation services, renovating shelters and IDP centers, documenting possible war crimes, implementing educational programs, delivering humanitarian aid, conducting monitoring visits, advocating for systemic changes, and offering legal and psychological support. Our regional psychosocial and legal support teams are active in Kharkiv, Vinnytsia, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, and Mykolaiv.

We are looking for a Case Manager:
- Vinnytsia (on-site);
- trips to transit centers in Lozova (Kharkiv Oblast) and Pavlohrad (Dnipropetrovsk Oblast);
- remuneration discussed during the interview.
Key responsibilities:
1. Case management in hromadas (communities) and institutions:
- conducting individual consultations with people in vulnerable situations;
- identifying beneficiaries’ needs and developing and implementing tailored case management plans;
- providing information on available humanitarian, social, and legal services;
- referring to partner organizations and services based on the needs;
- providing counseling to veterans and families of servicemembers, veterans, deceased, captured, or missing persons;
- maintaining case documentation in line with confidentiality and ethical standards.
2. Transit centers (Lozova, Pavlohrad):
- conducting initial consultations, providing basic support, and offering psychosocial counseling to evacuees;
- providing information on available services and resources at the transit center, in the receiving hromada, and through partner organizations;
- supporting people in crisis, including providing psychological first aid and accompanying to collective sites;
- counseling on social rights, assistance, and relocation options.
3. The East SOS psychosocial and legal support hub “Zatyshno Space”:
- individual and group councelling:
- preparing and delivering social-focused activities;
- creating a safe and supportive environment for visitors.
4. Information and Outreach Activities:
- preparing and delivering information sessions for hromadas (communities) and various target groups;
- conducting outreach visits to hromadas and residential care facilities;
- participating in external events, professional networks, and learning initiatives.
What we expect:
- 2+ years of experience in social work, case management, or related fields;
- degree in social work, psychology, or a related field;
- experience working with people affected by trauma or belonging to vulnerable groups;
- familiarity with applicable legislation in social protection and human rights;
- experience in maintaining documentation and preparing reports;
- adherence to professional ethics and confidentiality;
- willingness to learn and participate in trainings and supervisions;
- a valid driving license is an asset.
