Vostok SOS received the Richard C. Holbrooke Award in 2022

The Holbrooke Award is given annually to a local organization providing exceptional service to displaced people. Since 2014, Vostok SOS has offered comprehensive assistance to people affected by Russia’s invasions of Ukraine and promotes democratic transformation and human rights values. Since the full-scale Russian invasion in February 2022, we have significantly increased the amount of our work and covered almost all regions of Ukraine.

Every day we evacuate people from hot spots, provide humanitarian and psychological first aid, and document war crimes.

We thank our western partners Refugees International for supporting and recognizing our activities!

The award ceremony will take place on November 15, 2022, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM (Eastern Time (USA and Canada).
