Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of russia, sirens have sounded 1927 times in the region. Contrary to the terrorist country’s claims that military targets have been hit, russian bombs and missiles continue to hit civilian infrastructure, killing and injuring people.

There is a specialized preschool educational institution №12 “Sonechko” for children with special needs in Kamianske. The children have to hide in a bomb shelter almost daily during air raids. Staying in such conditions can harm the health of children and teachers.

This year in April, Vostok SOS Charitable Foundation contributed to the problem. With the United by Kindness Charity Foundation, we delivered five electric heaters to the kindergarten that will warm the boys and girls during their stay in the bomb shelter.

The charitable aid was purchased as part of the project “Providing socially vulnerable groups with heating means for the winter period” with the support of the TIDES Foundation.

As part of the project, since February 2023, Vostok SOS has delivered the following items to the shelters, hospitals, kindergartens, and war-affected people in different parts of Ukraine:

  • 3287 firewood stackers;
  • 2192 blankets;
  • 1950 heaters;
  • 1840 packages of adult diapers;
  • 776 stoves with chimney kits.
