In autumn 2022, the Charitable Foundation “Vostok SOS” managed to restart the work in the field of advocacy. We continue to initiate changes in legislation and search tools to solve current challenges in the context of the russian-Ukrainian war.

Ms. Yuliia Matviichuk, an advocate of the foundation, took part in coordination meetings with state bodies, during which the following topics were discussed:

  • provision of humanitarian aid to de-occupied communities of Donetsk region;
  • the procedure of importation of humanitarian aid;
  • pension provision for IDPs and residents of temporarily occupied territories;
  • the vision of the National Strategy in the field of human rights, etc.

Yuliia takes part in meetings of the Expert Council with the Representative of the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the rights of citizens affected by the armed aggression of russia against Ukraine.

Representatives of the Charitable Foundation “Vostok SOS” regularly attend meetings with the Coalition of Public Organizations, which protects the rights of victims of russia’s armed aggression against Ukrainians.

The advocacy and analytical legal activities of the foundation are supported by the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights . We thank donors for their support.

Let’s get closer to victory and help together!
