Vostok SOS has provided residents of the Kharkiv region with heating in the winter and spring
The de-occupied settlements of the Kharkiv region continue to recover from the russian invasion. The enemy is still shelling frontline cities and towns. The lack of electricity and heating makes the situation in these areas difficult. Residents continue to cook with wood in stoves.
This year, in March-April, the Vostok SOS Charitable Foundation donated 920 cubic meters of firewood to the Kharkiv region. The assistance was provided to representatives of low-income groups, war victims, and IDPs living in liberated territories and non-occupied areas.
This enabled us to provide homes with heating and help people solve cooking problems during blackouts.
The charitable aid was purchased as part of the project “Providing socially vulnerable groups with heating means for the winter period” with the support of the TIDES Foundation.
