Updated Rules for Continuing Payments for Internally Displaced Persons

Updated Rules for Continuing Payments for Internally Displaced Persons | CF «East SOS», картинка №1

Starting January 1, this year, the rules for how internally displaced persons can continue receiving monthly payments have been updated.

What has changed?
To continue receiving payments, the income of the family or individual over the last 3 months is now taken into account. To remain eligible, the average monthly income per person must not exceed 10,380 UAH.

Why was the amount changed?
Starting January 1, 2026, the income limit was raised due to the increase in the minimum subsistence level for those who have lost their ability to work, now set at 2,595 UAH. Previously, the maximum allowable income was 9,444 UAH, but it has now been raised to 10,380 UAH per person.

Who will continue receiving payments automatically?
Without the need for additional income verification, payments will continue for:

  • Pensioners receiving a pension of up to 10,380 UAH;
  • People with disabilities of groups I–II;
  • Children with disabilities up to the age of 18;
  • Orphans and individuals from this group up to the age of 23;
  • Foster parents, guardians, and adoptive parents.

It should be noted that on January 13, the Verkhovna Rada passed a new law on housing policy.
