The Road to Safety: How Evacuations from Marhanets in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Take Place
Constant russian attacks are making life in the frontline city of Marhanets in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast increasingly dangerous.
For local residents, evacuation has become the only way to protect themselves and their families.
A filming crew of the “Voienkor” project saw how rescue operations are carried out today, travelling to the city together with the evacuation team of the EAST SOS Charity Foundation.
This time, our team helped Halyna, her daughter and three grandchildren reach safety. The family reached out to the Foundation themselves – the contact was shared by their acquaintances we had helped evacuate several weeks earlier.
Watch the story to see how evacuation from the frontline city of Marhanets takes place and what challenges local residents face every day.
This activity is carried out within the project “Integrated Comprehensive Support and Protection for Vulnerable Evacuees”, implemented by the EAST SOS with funding from the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund (UHF).
