The EAST SOS Team Helps Zaporizhzhia Residents After Another russian Attack
russia continues its massive attacks on Zaporizhzhia. The city was struck with guided aerial bombs, causing a fire in one of the university buildings while also damaging homes and other civilian infrastructure.
Moreover, a passenger train in Zaporizhzhia Oblast was also hit. According to Ukrzaliznytsia, a train conductor sustained a minor injury. The passengers were evacuated and taken to the city by buses.
The regional team of the EAST SOS Charity Foundation arrived at the site to provide support to affected residents.
Our psychologist held 11 consultations, helping people regain emotional stability after the attack. Our lawyer provided 26 consultations on property ownership registration in the State Register of Real Rights to Immovable Property, inheritance procedures, and compensation for damaged housing.
“We worked at several locations for more than 5 hours. There was a lot of damage from the guided aerial bomb strikes. For some people, this was not the first shelling near their homes. Even so, they were trying to save whatever was left. People were in a difficult psychological state, and our support was needed,” said Yuliia Danyliuk, EAST SOS psychologist.
