The East SOS Charity Foundation Has Been Honored for Evacuation and IDP Assistance by the Defense Council of the Donetsk region and the Donetsk Regional State Administration

The East SOS Charity Foundation has been recognized for its tireless work evacuating civilians and supporting internally displaced people at transit points in the Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
Awards and gratitude were presented to Kateryna Skrypova – Deputy Executive Director and Humanitarian Coordinator, Yevhenia Tkachuk – Board Member, Call Center and Evacuation Coordinator, Olha Vladymyrova – Medical Support and Resettlement Coordinator. For the East SOS team, these honors are more than recognition – they are a reminder of the importance of saving lives and supporting people every day, even under the most difficult conditions.
“Our main priority is to prevent people from being left alone in danger under fire. We continue to evacuate, coordinate, resettle and support. Our values are humanity, compassion and respect for every person. They remain unchanged,” – Kateryna Skrypova, Deputy Executive Director and Humanitarian Coordinator at East SOS.
Every day, East SOS evacuation crews save lives on the frontline. The Foundation ensures a full evacuation cycle by receiving and processing applications, transporting people to safe areas, providing temporary shelter, assisting with documents and social services, and helping to find long-term housing.
More than 95,000 people have already been evacuated, including 15,000 people with limited mobility who needed special support.
Earlier, East SOS was once again included in the ranking of the most transparent charitable organizations of Ukraine.
