Residents of a Residential Care Facility in Kolyndiany (Ternopil Region) Gain Access to High-Speed Internet

Residents of the residential care facility in Kolyndiany, Ternopil region, now have access to high-speed Internet. They can watch their favorite TV programs and movies, stay in touch with their families, read the news, and search for useful information online. Televisions in common areas are also connected to the network, enabling residents to spend their leisure time together. Internet access has been installed in every room. The new network also significantly supports the facility’s staff in their work.
“I am sincerely grateful for the Internet connection. It helps us enormously: we can quickly download necessary programs, order medicines for residents, top up mobile phone accounts at their request, and handle many other important tasks,” said Vira, Nurse Manager of the inpatient care department.
In 2024, the East SOS team renovated the premises of the Territorial Center for Social Services of the Kolyndiany Village Council, equipping the facility with everything needed to accommodate 80 evacuees. East SOS continues to work together with the community to strengthen and develop local social services.
Reliable free Internet access in the community became possible thanks to the partnership between East SOS and TSF Ukraine within the Telecommunications Without Borders initiative.
We are grateful for this cooperation – it gives people more opportunities to stay connected.
