On the Eve of the Leipzig Festival of Light, $445 Was Raised to Support East SOS Evacuation Missions

The Peaceful Revolution Foundation organized a charity concert in Leipzig in support of East SOS’s fundraising campaign, “Electronic warfare – a shield for those who save.”

The open-air concert featured Batiar Gang, a local band whose music blends klezmer, punk, and Ukrainian folk songs, creating a unique atmosphere of Ukrainianness, solidarity, and shared humanity.

The event marked the culmination of the FREI_RAUM program – a week-long initiative by the Peaceful Revolution Foundation dedicated to themes of freedom, democracy, and memory.

All proceeds from the concert, $445, were transferred via PayPal to support East SOS’s campaign to purchase electronic warfare equipment.

We are deeply grateful to our friends in Leipzig, who independently organized this event, and to everyone who joined in. Several organizations in Germany provide ongoing support to our foundation. Their consistency and trust allow us to continue rescuing people affected by the war.
