Italian Documentary Filmmakers Present Short Film About CF “East SOS” Evacuation Crew

News

Last summer, Italian documentary filmmakers Giuseppe Borello and Andrea Sceresini embarked on a dangerous journey. For several days, they became part of the evacuation crew of the Charity Foundation “East SOS” to see firsthand how civilians live near the frontlines of the largest war of today’s Europe.

They turned what they saw and experienced into a 26-minute film, Escape from Donbas (Italian: FUGA DAL DONBASS), available to watch online for free.

Take a glimpse into the lives of those who do not leave their homes despite incessant shelling—real, living people fraught with fears, hopes, and contradictions, our people in the front-line territories.

Please be advised that the film contains explicit language and imagery that are not adapted for viewing by children or sensitive adults.
