Free Legal Consultations Resume in Dnipro!

Integrated humanitarian response for conflict-affected Ukrainians and third-country nationals in Ukraine, Poland, Romania and Moldova

The EAST SOS Charity Foundation is resuming weekly in-person legal consultations for people affected by the war, including internally displaced persons.

What kind of assistance can you receive?

  • preparing an application to the International Register of Damage for property damaged as a result of russia’s armed aggression;
  • compensation for destroyed or damaged housing: we will help you submit the request correctly and complete the application;
  • restoring documents confirming property ownership;
  • registering ownership rights for people whose property is currently located in temporarily occupied territories or areas of active hostilities;
  • legal assistance with inheritance matters;
  • consultations on other legal issues related to the internal displacement of people affected by the war.

You can submit an application to the Register of Damage if:

  • you own housing or other real estate located in a temporarily occupied territory;
  • your property was damaged or destroyed as a result of hostilities;
  • you are an internally displaced person.

Our lawyers can advise you on your eligibility to submit an application, the relevant category, and the required evidence, as well as help if you experience technical difficulties during the submission process.

Property ownership registration may be needed if:

  • you live in an apartment or house but are not sure whether your ownership right is registered in the State Register of Property Rights to Immovable Property;
  • the housing or land was inherited a long time ago;
  • the house was built a long time ago but was never registered;
  • property documents have been lost or damaged;
  • you plan to apply to the eRecovery (yeVidnovlennia)  program or the International Register of Damage;
  • you want to sell or gift the property.

This is important because an unregistered ownership right may become an obstacle to receiving compensation for destroyed or damaged property, completing inheritance procedures, or protecting your property rights in the future.

Legal assistance is available every Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM in Dnipro. The exact address will be provided after prior registration. For registration and inquiries, please contact: +38 063 288 67 88, Vladyslav.

Consultations are free of charge. We are here to help – with expertise and attention to your situation.

Legal assistance is provided as part  of the project Integrated humanitarian response for conflict-affected Ukrainians and third-country nationals in Ukraine, Poland, Romania and Moldova,” with the support of Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe and funding from the German Federal Foreign Office.

In early January, the EAST SOS Charity Foundation organized 4 support meetings for IDPs in Truskavets.
