Electronic Warfare Equipment = Life

The East SOS evacuation crews operate where help is needed most – under fire, in frontline zones, risking their own lives to save others.

In August, we launched a fundraising campaign to purchase electronic warfare (EW) equipment that will protect our teams and passengers from enemy drones and allow us to continue evacuating civilians safely.

For us, support can take many forms – but symbols give it real strength. This is proved by the warm, kind marmots that inspire participants of the Opinion Festival every year.

The annual Opinion Festival originated in the Estonian town of Paide and moved to Ukraine in 2017 – to Siverskodonetsk, Luhansk region, the hometown of the East SOS Charity Foundation. Since then, the blue marmot has become a reminder of the Luhansk steppes, of freedom of thought, and of people who change the world.

Our long-time friends from the Mondo organization, who have supported the festival for years, received a whole family of soft marmots in gratitude – for their donation to our campaign “Electronic warfare – a shield for those who save lives.”

We sincerely thank the Mondo team for their unwavering support – and we invite everyone to follow the example of our Estonian friends.
