EAST SOS’s Tailed Super Team: Furry Coworkers with Very Different Personalities

Some dreamed of their furry companion for almost two years. Some received theirs as a gift. And for some, it was simply love at first sight. This is how Teia, Marsik, Prianyk, and Loki came into the lives of the EAST SOS team – the new heroes of our tailed super team.

Teia – the dream that finally came true

For almost two years, Dmytro Havryshov, Procurement Manager at EAST SOS, dreamed of having a Jack Russell Terrier. He had even chosen a name for his future companion in advance, but for a long time, he hesitated.

Everything changed thanks to Dmytro’s friend, who had also wanted a dog for a long time. In the end, they decided to make their dreams come true together – and that is how Teia joined Dmytro’s life.

Dmytro brought her from Podvirivka, a border village in Bukovyna near Moldova. Today, Teia is four years old, and she has long become an inseparable part of his everyday life.

“She is a real bundle of energy: Teia adores long walks, games, and always wants to be close. She also senses mood very well and knows how to make even a hard day a little easier,” Dmytro says.

Marsik – the little traveler

Marsik came into the life of EAST SOS lawyer Alina Steblianko quite unexpectedly – as a birthday gift from her colleagues.

The mini Maltipoo is now six months old. He is playful, curious, and already loves adventures.

Although still very young, he has already traveled with his owner to Bukovel.

“My first big trip was amazing! I slept through most of the journey, then walked in the mountains and even saw a waterfall. I heard that new adventures are waiting for me. Maybe even trips with my owner to transit centers,” Marsik shared with excitement.

Prianyk – an introvert with attitude

Prianyk the guinea pig has been living with EAST SOS case manager Khristina Yaroshenko for a year.

Khristina says it was love at first sight: she saw his little tuft in a photo and immediately knew he was meant to be her pet.

He is quite calm, but when he gets hungry or hears the refrigerator door open, he suddenly becomes very interested in his owner. The rest of the time, he has important things to do: chewing hay, flipping over his food bowls, and expertly ignoring the world around him.

Prianyk especially loves cucumbers and peeled sweet peppers.

“Despite his difficult character, Prianyk is my little anti-stress companion. Apparently, you do not have to be very sociable to manage that,” Khristina jokes.

Loki – the master of balance

Our communications specialist Anastasiia Mykhailovych has a two-year-old cat named Loki. He first appeared in the family as an Easter gift for her grandparents. But eventually, Loki stayed with Anastasiia.

He is pure mischief – yet surprisingly well-behaved at times: he doesn’t damage the place, chew cables, or knock things over. Instead, Loki is incredibly playful, gentle, and a master at hunting sunbeams. He also has a little heart on his nose.

Most of all, Loki loves getting belly rubs. What he enjoys far less is when his owner works on her laptop instead. Then Loki comes over, lies down next to her, and tries to cover the screen with his paws.

“I understand that work is important to my owner, so we found a compromise: I don’t cover her laptop, and she types with one hand. The other hand, meanwhile, is busy with a no less important task–rubbing my belly,” Loki said.

Every pet has their own story of becoming part of a family. Over time came shared trips, favorite treats, little home rituals, and compromises. And with them came even more stories we would like to share.
