During the night and morning of June 19, the russian army struck the Kholodnohirskyi district of Kharkiv with guided aerial bombs. Nine people were injured as a result of the attack, including four children. More than 40 private residential houses were damaged.

The EAST SOS team came to support residents whose homes had been damaged. Our specialists provided 8 legal consultations, 5 psychological sessions, and 4 consultations on social issues.

“At the site of the attack, one house was completely destroyed, many others were damaged, and reconnaissance drones were still flying overhead. People were confused and terrified. Many were in shock, especially after the second explosion that happened later in the day. Our team stayed close and tried to help people calm down. We also provided comprehensive support to an older woman with limited mobility. She needed both psychological and legal assistance, and we are staying in touch with her,” shared EAST SOS psychologist Anastasiia Sushko.
