Today, russia attacked Ukrainian cities again. Kyiv suffered the heaviest attack, and July 3 was declared a day of mourning for those killed. Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, and other cities also came under enemy fire.

EAST SOS regional teams in Dnipro and Mykolaiv were deployed to the affected sites to support people whose homes had been damaged.

In Dnipro, the morning attack damaged transport infrastructure, five residential buildings and a school. Nearly 150 windows were shattered in the affected buildings.

Psychologists provided 7 consultations to people who experienced severe stress as a result of the explosions. Lawyers provided 21 consultations on registering property ownership in the State Register of Real Rights to Immovable Property. A social support specialist held 2 consultations, helping people understand what assistance was available to them after the attack.

That same day, the EAST SOS regional team also supported people in Mykolaiv.

A psychologist, a lawyer, and a social support specialist provided three consultations each. The lawyer explained how to apply for compensation for damaged property, while the social support specialist advised people on available humanitarian aid.

“People were in a state of severe shock. At one of the locations, the strike caused a large-scale fire, damaging houses and outbuildings. Despite being deeply distressed, people immediately began clearing the rubble and trying to save what remained. Many were worried about their pets, who had gone missing or been frightened by the explosions. We explained to the affected residents that they can receive psychological, social, and legal support at Zatyshno Space,” said Iryna Kasiian, psychologist at the EAST SOS Charity Foundation.

In Dnipro, legal consultations are available offline every Tuesday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The exact address will be provided upon registration.
