This annual ranking is published by the Association of Charities of Ukraine to recognize organizations that operate with the highest level of transparency. The list is based on an analysis of publicly available financial data and official reporting.

In 2025, East SOS raised UAH 501,338,800 to support people affected by russia’s aggression.

Over the course of the year, these resources were translated into much-needed support and enabled the Foundation to sustainably implement its programs, including: a full cycle of evacuation from frontline areas – from initial request to helping with recovery and accommodation; assistance to people affected by russian shelling; support for de-occupied and frontline hromadas (communities); repair of housing damaged by attacks; reconstruction of residential care facilities; legal and psychological counseling; advocacy; access to social services; war crimes documentation; and support for educators and civil society development.

“Every donation, along with international donor support, allows us to implement humanitarian initiatives for those affected – from strengthening our teams in frontline areas to building the capacity of host hromadas and, of course, carrying out civilian evacuations. We remain committed to full financial and reporting transparency. And we are deeply grateful to everyone who has contributed to this result,” said Kateryna Skrypova, Executive Director of East SOS.

Since 2014, East SOS has been providing comprehensive support to people affected by russia’s aggression in Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts. Since 2022, we have significantly expanded our activities to support hromadas across all government-controlled areas of Ukraine.

We sincerely thank everyone who enables the Foundation to act and grow in support of Ukraine. Together, we help bring hope back to those who have experienced loss.

East SOS ranked among the top three charitable organizations in Ukraine in the Charitable Ukraine-2024 Competition. In 2025, the team was awarded third place in the Golden Flipchart Competition in the Charitable Organization of the Year category.
