EAST SOS Discussed the Situation in Donetsk Oblast with Journalists from Tochka Skhodu

russian shelling continues to target energy and critical infrastructure again and again, deepening the humanitarian crisis affecting millions of people in Ukraine.

Restoring damaged infrastructure in Donetsk Oblast (region) is extremely difficult because of its proximity to the front line. The russian army deliberately carries out repeated attacks against repair crews and rescuers.

In the Na Chasi project, journalists from the Tochka Skhodu media outlet had a conversation with Roman Buhaiov, an evacuation specialist at the East SOS Charity Foundation, and energy expert Hennadii Riabtsev. Together, they discussed the situation in Ukraine’s east, the evacuation of civilians, and the state of Ukraine’s energy system.
