East SOS Charity Foundation Raised UAH 2 Million to Procure Electronic Warfare Systems for Evacuation Crews

The East SOS Charity Foundation has raised UAH 2,000,000 to strengthen the protection of its evacuation teams. As a result of the fundraising campaign, six electronic warfare (EW) systems have been procured to enhance the safety of evacuation missions. The campaign was built around sharing real evacuation stories.
A significant portion of the funds was raised through 24 “friendly jars” launched by members of the Foundation’s team as well as individuals who support the mission of saving lives. Our friends and international partners also joined the effort, contributing to both the Foundation’s hryvnia and foreign currency accounts. A charity concert in Germany and the Opinion Festival 2025 in Kyiv became part of this joint initiative to protect evacuation crews and help save civilians in Ukraine.
Over six months of fundraising, we collected:
- UAH 1,557,460 to the Monobank account, including UAH 1,417,098 raised through a dedicated Monobank fundraising jar;
- UAH 86,833 to the OTP Bank account;
- UAH 41,207 to the PrivatBank account.
Foreign currency contributions from our regular partners were converted into hryvnias at the official exchange rate of the National Bank of Ukraine:
- EUR 4,656
- USD 1,900
The purchased electronic warfare systems are a shield that will help protect our evacuation teams and the civilians they rescue.
We are sincerely grateful to everyone who contributed to this fundraising effort. The accumulated UAH 2 million represents your donations, initiatives, reposts, and invaluable words of support. Thanks to you, protecting and saving thousands of lives has become possible.
