11 Years of Help from the “East SOS” Charitable Foundation

More than a milestone. Іt’s 11 years of tireless commitment to those affected by war. Eleven years of standing side by side with trusted partners, donors, and people who care. Eleven years of work that has changed lives and history.

In that time, we’ve seen it all. We’ve held the hands of people running from basement shelters in panic. We’ve met elderly individuals who lost everything, and children who flinched at every explosion, dreaming of silence. We’ve witnessed love blossom in shelters, listened to stories that left us speechless, and spoken up for those who were silenced. We’ve responded day and night because war doesn’t follow a schedule. At times, we were the only family displaced people had left.

We’ve learned to turn pain and helplessness into action. We’ve learned how to embrace someone just with a look, when words fall short. This is what 11 years have taught us – that true strength isn’t built on loud declarations but on steady, human acts of solidarity: “Don’t be afraid. We’re here. We won’t leave you behind.”

It all began in 2014, with a shared belief in freedom and the dignity of millions of Ukrainians. Euromaidan activists came together to respond to urgent needs and calls for help. Since then, we’ve grown into an organization trusted by leading global communities. We remain close to those who have seen the horrors of war and survived them. We stand with people who’ve lost their homes, but not their hope. We rebuild houses and shelters. We evacuate civilians, provide free legal aid, share knowledge, host community events, support doctors, teachers, and local leaders. We answer calls at our hotline, advocate for human rights, track needs, and document war crimes.

Over 11 years, one truth has become clear: Every life saved, every story heard – deserve the best possible next chapter. And it’s our duty to help make that happen.

What we do is not about heroism, it’s a habit. One we’ve built every single day for 11 years. It’s a choice we make each morning, and will continue to make, for as long as the people of Ukraine need us.

Thanks to everyone who stays with us and shares our values.
Let’s keep helping, together.
