Through the Eyes of Frontliner Reporters: How East SOS Evacuation Crews Save Lives in the Donetsk Region

Evacuating people with disabilities from frontline areas is one of the most complex and demanding tasks carried out by the evacuation crews of the East SOS Charity Foundation.

Amid the large-scale challenges of war, the state is often unable to respond quickly to the urgent needs of residents in frontline communities. In these circumstances, volunteer and humanitarian initiatives play a critical role in filling life-saving gaps.

In October 2025, journalists from Frontliner Media spent a day with the East SOS team, observing the evacuation process at its various stages.
