SCHOOL UP: Digital Competencies and Psychosocial Support

In March, 105 educators and psychology students from Ukrainian universities attended ten workshops. The project involved representatives from 35 schools and ten universities in Dnipro, Lviv, Chernihiv, Zhytomyr, and Luhansk regions.

The initiative is aimed at developing competencies and providing psychosocial support. The students learned to work with:

  • trauma;
  • PTSD;
  • cases of gender-based violence.

Psychology students and school psychologists learned how to work with students, including inclusive education. The project involved training the first local trainers to develop teachers’ digital competencies and equipping schools with technical tools for their work.

The program was developed by international and Ukrainian experts, teachers, coaches, and psychologists.

The Vostok SOS Charitable Foundation is implementing the School-Up project in partnership with the Estonian organization MTÜ Mondo, Real Ukrainians and Recovery Camp, as well as with the support of the Ukraine Humanitarian Fund.
