Providing Socially Vulnerable Populations with Heating Means for the Winter Period

The village of Vysokopillia had been occupied for seven months. The local hospital was heavily damaged during the hostilities, and the occupiers’ headquarters was located there. They set up a hospital in the basement, and snipers were on the fifth floor.

The russians left damaged medical equipment and a lot of garbage. After the de-occupation, it turned out that the hospital could not be restored. The staff decided to continue their work in the building that had been saved.

Last month, the Vostok SOS team also joined the renovation and delivered 25 all-season blankets there.

The charitable aid was purchased as part of the project “Providing socially vulnerable groups with heating means for the winter period”, supported by the TIDES Foundation.

Since February 2023, the Vostok SOS Charitable Foundation has distributed 2167 blankets to six regions of Ukraine. The assistance was provided to representatives of low-income groups, war-affected people, and IDPs from the Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, and Donetsk regions.
