Global Education – Knowing Human Rights

“Principals begin to cry when they remember their native schools in Lysychansk, Popasna, Rubizhnе and other temporarily occupied towns. russia burns our educational institutions with rockets every day, so we have no right to sit idly by. Vostok SOS continues to support educators and help at the level of its capabilities and competence”, says Yulia Kishenko, manager of educational programs of our foundation.

For the first time since the full-scale invasion, Vostok SOS has gathered offline our friends – school directors of the project “Global education – we know human rights” and “School territory of human rights”. Four days of intensive work with challenges, training, psychological support and serious conversations about the present and future in the context of the work of educational institutions are awaiting the team.

We share the first photos of an informal meeting here. To be continued!

The summer school for educators 2022 is conducted by the “Vostok SOS” Charitable Foundation in partnership with the Estonian organization MTÜ Mondo and the Освітній дім прав людини в Чернігові / Human Rights House in Chernihiv, with the financial support of Estonian Centre for International Development
