Some members of the Charitable Foundation «Vostok-SOS» have decided to take part in early parliamentary elections scheduled for July 21, 2019.

On June 4, Oleksandra Dvoretska (on party lists), Yevhenii Vasyliev, Kostiantyn Rieutskyi and Ivetta Kuzmina (self-nominated candidates for majoritarian districts of Luhansk region) announced their decision to run for the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. The organization welcomes the proactive stance of its members and expresses its gratitude for working to protect the rights of internally displaced persons, residents of the occupied territories and the victims of the armed conflict in the eastern part of Ukraine, as well as for the development of the civil society in Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

However, the Charitable Foundation «Vostok-SOS» declares its political independence and equal distance from each of the political forces. The organization continues to implement project activities in accordance with signed grant agreements, as well as non-project and volunteering activities implemented by the organization from the day it was founded and consistent with the values of democracy and human rights.
