Report on the Frontline Areas Monitoring: Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk Regions

Analytic
31.05.2023

In May 2023, the Vostok SOS Charitable Foundation team conducted a monitoring visit to the frontline settlements of Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia. Our main goal was to assess the level of humanitarian aid provision, identify current needs and share evacuation information.

“Regular monitoring visits allow us to identify the urgent needs of people in the frontline areas and focus the Foundation’s resources on solving these problems. The results of the visit serve as the basis for national and international advocacy. The Foundation’s representatives present the reports in European countries. We draw attention to the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine and gain support from international organizations”, said Milan Zaitsev, the Vostok SOS Project Manager.

The team plans to publish monitoring reports once a month and an in-depth humanitarian analysis every six months.

“We will analyze and focus our reports on various topics or challenges affecting society and requiring solutions”, said Milan Zaitsev.

You can find the first monitoring report of the project below.

This publication was produced within the project “Support for vulnerable and hard-to-reach groups in war-affected Ukraine” with the financial support of the European Union. Its contents are the sole responsibility of CF “East SOS” (Vostok SOS) and do not necessarily reflect the views of the European Union.
