Ukraine Response Consortium: Providing Intersectoral Humanitarian Assistance to Conflict-Affected Populations in Ukraine

The all-Ukrainian Safe Spaces for Women and Girls Network, Zatyshno Space, is expanding! On June 1, the official opening of the Safe Space in Mykolaiv took place.

The women met the team, enjoyed the atmosphere and hot drinks, and had the opportunity to learn more about the rights of IDPs and the psychology of slimness. While the women attended interesting lectures and socialized, the children had fun in the playroom and created beautiful paintings.

The initiative aims to protect and provide psychological, legal, and social assistance to women and girls affected by the war and facing difficult life circumstances. The Space’s activities are also aimed at combating gender-based violence. All services are free of charge.

Zatyshno Space is open from Monday to Saturday (10 AM to 7 PM) at 79-A Potemkin Street, Mykolaiv.

Check the Telegram channel Zatyshno Space Mykolaiv for event announcements.

The Vostok SOS Charitable Foundation is implementing the project in cooperation with the Response Consortium, an association of organizations that have been implementing a multi-sectoral humanitarian intervention for 12 months to address the critical and urgent needs of the affected population in Ukraine with the financial support of the USAID Ukraine Bureau of Humanitarian Assistance (BHA). Vostok SOS is an implementing partner of CARE, a consortium member.
