The East SOS Charity Foundation is proud to share that we have been awarded 5 stars – the highest possible rating – in the National Rating “Charity Compass of Ukraine.” This recognition is an important milestone for our team and a testament to the trust and support we receive from our community, as well as the independent evaluation of our transparency and integrity by representatives of the government sector, civil society, and professional associations.

The Charity Compass rating, developed by the Ukrainian Philanthropists Association, evaluates charitable organizations based on open reporting, internal policies, effective use of funds, accountability to donors, and external communication. For the East SOS team, this distinction is a reminder of the principles that guide us every day.

“The Charity Compass is, above all, an indicator of trust. We are deeply grateful to our partners and donors who support us in implementing humanitarian programs, psychosocial support projects, and community development initiatives. This award reaffirms that we act honestly, transparently, and with respect for every person we help,” said Kateryna Skrypova, Deputy Executive Director and Humanitarian Coordinator at East SOS.

Since 2014, the East SOS Charity Foundation has been supporting those affected by the war. We began our work in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, and since 2022, we have been providing assistance to communities across Ukraine. We evacuate, support, rebuild, educate, and advise – every day, we do everything possible to ensure that people have the support and faith in tomorrow they deserve. Transparency, trust, and responsibility are the foundation of our work, because every action and every effort matters.

We are sincerely grateful to our partners, donors, and all caring people who make it possible for help to reach everyone in need. Kindness, solidarity, and trust are what unite us – even in the most difficult times.

We also remind you that the Defense Council and the Donetsk Regional State Administration have recognized the East SOS team for its evacuation missions and support for displaced persons.
