The large-scale event brought together civil society organizations, businesses, and charitable foundations to support people during the war, provide information on available assistance, share employment and training opportunitiesю, and strengthen the sense of mutual support. Dozens of organizations actively helping IDPs and local residents presented their initiatives at the forum.

The East SOS team set up a presentation area featuring leaflets, banners, and monitoring reports. We also showcased several photographs from our Chronicles of Evacuation exhibition, which has already been displayed in multiple Ukrainian cities. The images capture moments of rescue and tell the stories of civilians evacuated from Pokrovsk, Kramatorsk, Bakhmut, Kherson, and other cities affected by russian attacks.

“This forum is a great opportunity to present the foundation’s key activities, talk about the full evacuation cycle, psychosocial and legal assistance, and exchange contacts with potential partners. We spoke with more than a hundred visitors—people who recently moved to Dnipro or have lived here long-term and need to know where to seek help in different life situations,” said Dmytro Kobzar, Coordinator of the Monitoring and Evaluation Department at East SOS.

In Dnipro, the foundation has a large regional team that includes psychologists, social workers, lawyers, monitoring specialists, and evacuation staff. Our specialists support people in the transit centers of Pavlohrad and Voloske in the Dnipro region and arrange temporary accommodation for evacuated individuals with limited mobility at the Center for Social Adaptation of the NGO “Ocean of Good”.

When a suitable place for permanent residence and care is found in a relatively safe region, the team assists with the departure process: we organize transportation to the evacuation train, help with boarding, and accompany people to the host community.

We also provide psychosocial support to victims of russian attacks in Dnipro. Our lawyers advise residents whose homes were damaged or destroyed by shelling, assist with document restoration, and help them apply for compensation under the state program.

Every Tuesday, our lawyers offer free in-person legal consultations for residents. For more information, please call +38 063 288 67 88 (Vladyslav).
