Donation in Action: East SOS Strengthens Rescuers in the Donetsk Region with Technical Equipment, Amounting to UAH 200,000
The Donetsk region remains at the epicenter of daily hostilities. Every day, emergency workers of the State Emergency Service risk their lives to conduct search and rescue operations, extinguish fires, clear rubble, and evacuate civilians from danger.
To support their life-saving mission, in July 2025, the East SOS Charity Foundation procured and handed over six professional concrete ring saws to the Donetsk Regional SES unit. The total value of the assistance amounted to UAH 203,400.
“Every minute is valuable, so it is essential for rescuers to have modern equipment in the right quantity. This determines how quickly they can save people during shelling,” emphasized Oksana Kolesnyk, Humanitarian Manager at East SOS.
The East SOS Charity Foundation has been systematically supporting SES units in the Donetsk, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhia, and Dnipro regions, providing them with critical equipment. So far, we have delivered personal protective equipment (bulletproof vests, helmets, ballistic goggles, active headphones), specialized tools for debris removal, firefighting, and demining, and construction materials for arranging shelters and strengthening civil protection facilities.
