On June 8, 2023, Kyiv hosted an award ceremony for the Charitable Ukraine-2022 National Contest winners. The Vostok SOS Charitable Foundation was awarded third place in the category “Charity in Defense of Ukraine”.

Yuliia Krasilnykova, Executive Director of the Foundation, and Kateryna Skrypova, Head of the Foundation’s Board, attended the ceremony at the Ukrainian House National Center.

“It is a great honor to receive the award. This is a common victory of the Ukrainian and international community, which has been joining forces for the ninth year to help the war victims. We are now experiencing great support from humanitarian organizations and businesses that support fundraising for the needs of the Kherson region. We are grateful for the trust and admire the dedication of the Foundation’s team. We congratulate our colleagues from the Come Back Alive Foundation and United Help Ukraine (USA). Every day, we stand side by side and respond to humanitarian challenges, and today we are on stage together”, said Yuliia Krasilnykova, Executive Director of the Foundation.

The Vostok SOS team has been helping people affected by russia’s brutal aggression for 9 years. Only in 2022, the Foundation raised UAH 340,000,000 to help Ukraine.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Vostok SOS team has evacuated more than 46,000 Ukrainians, 4,500 of whom are people with limited mobility. We support and rebuild shelters and temporary accommodation facilities, deliver humanitarian aid, advocate for the rights of victims of russian aggression in Ukraine, promote the psychological adaptation of IDPs, and document war crimes.

We are grateful to everyone who is going through this journey with us. Together to victory!
