EW – A Shield for Lifesavers: CF “East SOS” Launches a Fundraiser to Protect Evacuation Vehicles.

Fundraiser for the EW Shield

EW – a shield for lifesavers. We are launching a major fundraising drive by the Charity Foundation “East SOS”.

With this initiative, the team of the Charity Foundation “East SOS” seeks to protect those who, day after day, rescue civilians from under shelling – our evacuation team.

The russian federation army deliberately targets evacuation and humanitarian missions. The enemy aims not only to destroy and occupy cities and villages but also to intimidate civilians, disrupt evacuations, seize territories and capture our people. Ukrainians living under occupation are turned into “human shields,” political leverage, soldiers in the hostile russian army, and tools for propaganda.

The Charity Foundation “East SOS” has unparalleled experience in rescuing civilians, with its teams demonstrating resilience and commitment to their mission for the fourth year in a row. But today, they need additional protection – an electronic warfare (EW) suite that jams enemy drones, blocks their control signals, and protects vehicles.

Since 2022, we have helped 89,000 people escape danger, 13,000 of whom were lonely elderly people who would not have been able to flee the frontline settlements on their own. In the past, our vehicles could safely approach as close as 5 km to the battle contact line. However, over the past year, the enemy’s tactics have changed – they have begun deliberately targeting crews with FPV drones. Now, every trip closer than 20 km to the frontline is a risky gamble.

We need EW systems to avoid tempting fate and to be sure that our crews and the people on board are reliably protected during evacuation trips. This is the only way to keep rescuing large families, people with disabilities, and the elderly, who often take the brave step of evacuating together with their pets, the only loyal companions that have stayed by their side.

Every single one of your donations makes you a daily part of the life-saving mission.

The math of our work is simple yet striking:

  • 3+ years of daily deployments;
  • 1,300+ evacuation runs;
  • 13 evacuation team members;
  • 89,000 people rescued;

– and 6 EW systems that will help us continue our mission of rescuing civilians from under enemy shelling.

So please support the purchase of the EW systems — a shield for those who rescue others!

Join the fundraiser. Share it. Become a part of the shield that protects those who save people under fire every day.
