About the project

The project aims to address the urgent needs arising from the full-scale war, focusing on providing quality educational services and psychosocial support for educators and school administrators. 

The project, developed by international and Ukrainian experts, including teachers, trainers, and psychologists, is specifically designed to help educators develop digital competencies and master the basics of psychosocial support for students.

The project also provides schools with the necessary technical equipment.

Project goal

Enhancing digital competencies of general secondary education teachers, specifically tailored to the needs of online learning, and ensuring that education remains accessible to children with special educational needs.

Improving the skills of psychology students and school psychologists in addressing gender-based violence and trauma. It equips them with practical tools to apply this knowledge effectively when working with students.

Expanding and enhancing psychological support provided to children in participating general secondary education institutions.

Providing modern hardware and software for schools involved in the project to foster an improved learning environment.

Strengthening the organizational capacity of local partners to ensure the more effective implementation of initiatives and fostering sustainable development.

Project stages

Data Collection and Analysis
Gathering data on the current level of teachers’ digital competencies and assessing the state of psychosocial support for students in the schools participating in the project.

Teacher Training
Organizing training sessions for teachers on the effective use of modern digital tools in online education, with a focus on the specifics of inclusive learning.

Support for Students’ Mental Health
Implementing a set of activities aimed at enhancing the skills of school psychologists and psychology students from higher education institutions. As part of the project, participants will continue applying the acquired knowledge in practical settings.

Equipment
Supplying schools involved in the project with essential equipment and licensed software to support effective online learning and enhance the overall educational process.

It was an amazing training. I am truly delighted with the knowledge, skills, and format of the sessions. They left a lasting impression on me—one I’m sure will stay with me for a very long time.
