About the project

Implemented by East SOS with financial support from the USAID Bureau of Humanitarian Assistance, this project aims to provide emergency resettlement assistance to individuals forced to flee conflict-affected areas. In addition to resettlement support, the project focuses on community recovery by assisting in the repair of homes that have been damaged or destroyed during the conflict.

Project segments
Evacuation

The project ensures the protection of life and health for vulnerable populations in war-affected areas of Ukraine, with special focus on older adults and people with disabilities, by organizing emergency relocation to safer regions.

Reconstruction

The project also provides repairs and insulation for residential buildings damaged by the war, creating safer living conditions for the affected communities. This effort not only offers immediate housing security but also lays the foundation for long-term recovery and stability for households.
