Integrated Relief Support for Vulnerable Populations in Severely Affected Areas of Kharkiv Oblast
Project goal
The goal of the project is to provide comprehensive multisectoral assistance to residents of the most vulnerable communities remaining near the front line in the Kharkiv region, ensuring the restoration of basic and essential living conditions.
Project objectives
- Repair 180 war-damaged homes in the Izyum district to ensure that vulnerable groups — such as families with children, the elderly, and people with disabilities — have access to safe and dignified housing.
- Guarantee sustainable access to safe water for 2,300 residents of frontline communities in the Kharkiv region by drilling two new artesian wells in the Izyum and Chuhuiv rayons and repairing the municipal water supply system in the Kharkiv rayon.
- Provide non-food item (NFI) kits containing essential items to improve the material and living conditions of 700 affected households in the communities of Izyum and Chuhuiv districts.
- Provide hygiene kits adapted to the needs of different population groups to meet the hygiene needs of 1,320 vulnerable people, including people with disabilities, the elderly, and infants.
