Project period

June 14, 2022 – June 30, 2023

Project geography

Evacuation: Luhansk, Donetsk, Kharkiv, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, Chernihiv, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions

Humanitarian support provided in: Dnipropetrovsk, Cherkasy, and Kirovohrad regions

Results

Evacuation

The project facilitated the evacuation of civilians from frontline areas. In total, assistance was provided to 11,466 people, including 2,642 individuals with limited mobility and 21 children.

Humanitarian component of the project

A total of 68 shelters were arranged across five regions of Ukraine, where the highest numbers of internally displaced persons (IDPs) from occupied and de-occupied territories are concentrated. As most IDPs remain in these shelters, it is crucial to ensure safe and comfortable living conditions to support their mental and physical well-being during displacement.

Within the framework of the project, a total of UAH 45,336,483 was allocated and spent as follows:

  • UAH 20,921,823 — for furnishing bedrooms, bathrooms, toilets, and laundry rooms
  • UAH 22,337,270 — for providing hot mobile meals to sheltered individuals in Dnipro

UAH 2,077,390 — for purchasing and distributing hygiene kits and essential items for people with limited mobility
