Project goal

The project objective is to provide comprehensive support to conflict-affected populations in frontline regions of Ukraine (families with children, the elderly, and people with limited mobility and disabilities) by ensuring access to social transportation, psychosocial, legal, and social services, as well as safe and dignity-centered temporary and long-term accommodation.

Project objectives
  • Provide social transportation for beneficiaries in frontline regions of Ukraine to ensure their access to social services.
  • Provide timely information and counseling support to beneficiaries at the transit hubs regarding temporary or long-term accommodation options, taking into account individual needs for housing, nursing care, or medical oversight, as well as assistance in planning a safe route for further relocation.
  • Provide comprehensive support to IDPs in places of temporary and long-term stay, including psychosocial support, individual social counseling, and legal assistance.
  • Enhance the capacity of residential care facilities restored by the East SOS team that accept IDPs through staff training and support.
  • Improve the living conditions of internally displaced persons in collective sites by refurbishing and improving the energy efficiency of premises for safe and dignified accommodation.
